Printable Nonogram Puzzles: Free 5×5 & 10×10 PDFs with Answers
Take a screen break with 10 original printable nonogram puzzles: six compact 5×5 grids and four larger 10×10 grids. Download a free PDF for either size. Every pack has blank puzzles on page 1 and matching answers on page 2, so you can print just the questions or keep a separate answer key.
No account, email address or payment is needed. These are abstract black-and-white logic grids from our own puzzle collection. Each has one solution reachable by row and column deductions, without guessing.

Choose and print a pack
- Start with 5×5 if you want fewer squares to track. Choose 10×10 for a longer line-by-line challenge. Size is not a difficulty rating.
- Open the PDF and select page 1 to print only the blank puzzles. Page 2 contains the solutions.
- The PDFs use US Letter paper. For A4, choose Fit to printable area in your print dialog; the margins leave room for scaling.
- Use a pencil. Fill a square only when it is certain, and mark confirmed empty squares with an ×.
Read the clues on paper
Clue numbers describe groups of filled squares in order. A row marked 2 1 contains a group of two, at least one empty square, and then a single filled square. Column clues work in exactly the same way from top to bottom. A clue of 0 means every square in that line is empty.
For a five-square row with clues 2 2, the entire arrangement is fixed: ■ ■ × ■ ■. Use that line to learn something about each crossing column. For a lone clue 3 in five squares, only the middle square is initially guaranteed. Our beginner guide explains the rules, and our strategy guide shows overlap and exact-fit examples.
